Hi Lisa
Who I am really doesn't matter. I am just a World traveler (just like you) and a person interested in World History. I am also quite aware of the history of ISE/SAS.
While I have missed the opportunity to be a student onboard with SAS, I have been on both of the previous ships : The SS Universe and the Universe Explorer and I'm quite familiar with the history of all the ships (including the current MV Explorer) before they became floating campuses for SAS. Example : do you know that the old SS Universe used to be a cargo ship (ran on steam and built in the USA) before it was converted to an Ocean Liner ? and Ocean Liners can handle rough seas much better than 'cruise ships'.
I enjoy following your Blog and (if you allow me) would like to offer some comments once a while .
