P.S. - We found out about all our trips today. I got all the ones I wanted except for the Beijing Great Wall trip :( I marched right down there and signed up for the Peking University one (I signed up for another university trip before), and hopefully I will find out tomorrow I got in it! The only real differences is that they are going to the site of the summer olympics and the Beijing zoo. Although the summer olympics site would be cool, I didn't really get into the Olympics so I could give that one up. The SAS program stresses "flexibility" so that's fine, but I will NOT give up the Beijing Zoo. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love animals and zoos are my favorite. Apparently there are not only the giant pandas, but all kinds of animals from all over the world. So anyways, I am going to find out how to go to that, got a long way to go til China!

So I am looking for this digging to China nonsense and I cannot find it!! Apparently "Digging to China" was a movie starring Kevin Bacon. Wikipedia claims he won best actor at the Giffoni film festival for his role in this movie (big day!). Ask your roomie if she has any further advice.

LISA!!! what is the food anyway? why is it so bad? You're going to get sick if you don't start eating better! (and i dont mean reeses)... at least youre eating fruit, but seriously, aren't there any vegies or decent meat to eat? Congrats on the Ambassador co-chair, that's great ;-) I just sent some pics to Donna, Marcela's mom, very cute one of you guys. Remember, I told you about the pirate's from my sailboat cruising magazine? be careful! (not that you can do anything about it). Happy Neptune day - I want to see the fish guts too! Lisa, I know that the food is not hamburgers and hotdogs, but it is darn better than having to cook for yourself and clean up, too!!
